We are incredibly proud to announce that the ASTA Greater San Diego Chapter has been recognized with TWO prestigious awards:

The Robert L. Duglin Chapter Excellence Award—formerly known as Chapter of the Year—honors the ASTA chapter that exemplifies outstanding leadership, community building, and excellence in member service. Renamed to honor Robert “Bob” Duglin, a former ASTA Vice President celebrated for his dedication to volunteer leadership and small businesses, this award represents the very best of ASTA chapters nationwide.
✨ As of January 2026, the San Diego Chapter received this distinguished recognition at the inaugural ASTA Globes Awards, celebrating our chapter’s impact, engagement, and commitment to our travel advisor community.

Training – VTA program renamed VeriVacation. Watch for the new ASTA consumer-facing commercials, promoting the use of Verified Travel Advisors.
Our San Diego ASTA team is hard at work getting great programs on the calendar updating our website and Facebook accounts, and planning FAM trips. Remember our board all have full-time jobs as well as volunteering for our Chapter.
Please remember, when you RSVP for an event, we count on you to attend. Our suppliers pay for a minimum attendance whether you show up or not. PLEASE respect their support or our chapter.
