President’s Newsletter December 2025

Happy Holidays, Members!

It has been an eventful and exciting year for ASTA and for our San Diego chapter! We’ve hosted eight incredible events this year, including our HUGE Fall Festival and most recently, our Holiday Party. A heartfelt thank you to all of our partner suppliers for your unwavering support, and to our dedicated board volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make every event possible and successful.

We also hosted two highly successful FAM trips—to the Philippines and Costa Brava. Special thanks to Jeanine for organizing these wonderful opportunities and to Jeanine and Katie for escorting them. We hope all attendees walked away inspired and better equipped to promote these amazing destinations to their clients.

Together, we’ve raised over $6,200 for Advocacy and more than $900 for the Consumer Awareness Fund—surpassing both of our goals! Attached is the December Advocacy update.

As we approach 2026, we’re already looking ahead to another great year. Planning for next year’s events begins in January, and we’d love your input! If there are specific topics, areas of interest, or educational trainings you’d like us to include, please let us know.

Our goal is to continue providing valuable and engaging learning opportunities for all our members. I am truly proud to serve as your President of San Diego ASTA.
